The term technology junk is a term used by first world countries when they dispose their old technology to countries belonging to the third world. It is a sad truth and it really is happening. Let us take example of the Pentium series of processor. When old computers are disposed, it has still the lower version of processors attached to the motherboard of the computer. What is happening is that, junk divers get the processors and sell it below cost. The old processors are still usable and in condition for a second hand computers.
